Church Women United

VISION: Church Women United is a nondenominational women's group united in faith, doing God's will; women, who have come together to empower other women. Galatians 6:2
INTEGRITY: By faith we will provide resources and services to those in need, to eliminate struggles and strife for a more peaceful life. Psalm 139
STRUCTURE: The Key Women will work as the liaison between the organization and the church to keep everyone informed of all events. Matthew 10:32-42
ACCOUNTABILITY: Each year Church Women United will provide an Annual Report to its members, outlining the year's activities and financial accounting. Matthew 6
Mother's Board

Meeting: 10:00 A.M. 1st Saturday of each month
VISION: The objective of the Mother’s Board Ministry is to be a witness for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to share the Good News of the Gospel to a hurting and troubled people; people who could be mourning from the loss of a loved one, people who could be experiencing depression, anxiety, hopelessness, fearfulness, etc. The members of the Mother’s Board are set aside to minister with prayer and comfort to these people in need. James 5:14, 1Timothy 5:1, Matthew 10:6-7
INTEGRITY: Our mission and ministry is based on God’s Word and therefore we are not to be fearful as we go out to minister to the people. We can hold fast to our purpose and not worry about what we should say, because the Spirit of the Lord is with us and through us will speak truth that will bear witness for us as we comfort others. Proverbs 20:7, Titus 2:3-8, Matthew 10:16-20
STRUCTURE: Our ministry’s main purpose is to bring comfort and peace to a hurting people by starting out with prayer for our God to show us where the need is and then to show us how to approach the need with a loving and caring attitude. Matthew 10:9-15
ACCOUNTABILITY: Together, as we work out the purpose of our ministry, we should be of the same mind and spirit as we study to know God’s Word and be able to share His Word with others. Also be unafraid to confess Him before men as we take up our cross daily. Matthew 10:32-42
Sisterhood

VISION: The Sisterhood's vision is for all women of Tabernacle Baptist Church to become "Virtuous Women" as described in Proverbs 31:10-31. We envision becoming women who adore and revere God; are wise, industrious, excellent stewards of our households; strong, gracious, and compassionate and caring.
INTEGRITY: The Sisterhood of Tabernacle Baptist Church is made up of all the women of Tabernacle. We encourage and support the spiritual development, unity, and bonds of love of the women of Tabernacle. We accomplish these through worship, witnessing, prayer, education and fellowship. Hebrews 10:24-25
STRUCTURE: Our programs and activities include the Women's Retreat, Feeding the Hungry at St. Vincent's Shelter, SWAG Rally, and Christmas Baskets for our Healing and Being Made Whole members. Matthew 25:35-40
ACCOUNTABILITY: The Sisterhood is committed to working cooperatively with love in carrying out our service to God. Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)

Our STRUCTURE embraces and encourages the inclusion
of others, and the commitment of its members to seek with the up
building of God's kingdom, through the active engagement of Prayer,
Bible Study and Stewardship as God gives us the ability to be just like
him in love, joy, and peace. Ephesians 5:19, Col 3:16
Our ACCOUNTABILITY represents the
commitment to attend rehearsals and to support the ministry by making
ourselves available to the leadership of the church as we are needed and
